10 Little Treasures - the class of 22 collection

Welcome to the latest edition of our 10 Little Treasures. We’ve had so many incredible artists and creatives show their work at MAISON 10, and we’re bursting with pride to see them move on to bolder, bigger, newer things.

So, without further ado, this is our Class of 22 Collection. Go support them – and give them a big MAISON 10 smooch from us.

1.  TAEZOO PARK

Taezoo has not one but two magnificent exhibitions happening in New York. The digital artist behind the stunning centerpiece for our Les Étrangers cycle is taking part in Welcome Back at the World Trade Center Oculus (C1 level, south concourse), which opens July 21, 6pm-8pm and runs until August 28.

The busy bee is also part of a concurrent exhibition at Industry City in Brooklyn. Summer Lounge – an international group show of more than 100 works – opens July 23, and runs until September 10.

2. FADI J KHOURY

Fadi is a longtime friend and collaborator of MAISON 10, who stunned us all with his performance at our first ever KahBarYay. You can see more of his sensual, fluid movement at an evening of live music and dance on July 26 at Mark Morris in Brooklyn. He’ll be accompanied by cellist Elad Kabilio, and the evening will feature all-new choreography set to Bach, Philip Glass, George Crumb and more, as the two artists explore new ways of bending borders of thought and culture.

3. EVA MUELLER

We got a cheeky peek at some of Eva’s lightbox images exploring Black masculinity in full bloom in our revealing Queer & Sexy cycle. This is an opportunity to see the complete collection in all its glory. Flowers & Chocolate will be at the Soho Project Space on Prince Street until July 24.

GO SAY HEY

4. ADAM HANDLER

If you happen to be in Hong Kong, consider yourself lucky lucky lucky. The very splendid Adam Handler first exhibited at MAISON 10 in 2017 and has gone on to global superstardom. He's what we call in the art world HOT STUFF! He opens a solo exhibition of his UFO abduction pieces at the Haus of Contemporary in August and it’s going to be very special indeed.

5. NATALE ADGNOT

Her three-dimensional, abstract works continue to be some of our all-time bestsellers at MAISON 10. She’s now opening the doors of her New Paltz studio for the first time. Be there this weekend – Saturday and Sunday – to see where the magic happens, and to view work from her brand new Bird Brains series. She's also in Toronto, as part of a two-person exhibition with Kate Casanova until August 7, and a group show at Brooklyn Heights Art Gallery until October.

6. PAT DUNIGAN

Not only is Pat Dunigan one of our 10 powerhouse female artists from the current Les Femmes cycle – she also has a larger exhibition of her bold, colorful collage work currently running at the Royalton Park Avenue hotel until August.

GO SAY HEY

7. TIM SUTTON

Hello Springville! Tim Sutton has his first public exhibition at the town’s Museum of Art, in tandem with the 48th Annual Utah Quilt Show. This fabulously talented glass artist has created three stunning stained glass quilts for this major show, which runs through September 17. Go see it – and give him a hug from us – if you’re in Utah anytime soon.

9. CHRIS MARMIER

If you’ve visited MAISON 10 anytime in, oh, the last couple of years, you won’t have been able to miss the colorful, cleverly subversive pieces by Chris Marmier. We’re excited that our Amsterdam-based buddy is part of the Queens exhibition at the GO Gallery in the Dutch city. His work sits alongside that of 40 other artists, in an exhibition that runs until August 20 and features portraits of queens including Madonna, Nefertiti, and Freddy Mercury.

10. MAISON 10

Don’t forget us (how could you?). We bring you unique gifts, homewares, accessories, and original works of art – with new pieces like this one by Julia Rivera being added every day. You’re a very special part of our community here and we’re overwhelmed with gratitude for your continued support.
