Reasons to feel lucky

We’re feeling lucky today. Because not only is it St Patrick’s Day – waving a shamrock to our amazing friends at the John Doe, whose burgers we’re already drooling for as we write this. But also, we’ve got our vaccination appointments – woohoo! – bringing us one step closer to a world in which we can hug each other again.

We know many of you are anxiously trying to get in line for a vaccine, so are passing on these two resources, as recommended by the M10 community.

Register for standby lists at vaccine sites near you.

A site that finds appointments from government-run vaccine sites all over NYC, updated in real time.

And now, without further ado, here are our 10 favorite pieces this week.

Namaste ninja workout freshener

1. LOVE 2021

Spray a splash of Namaste Ninja on your face, body, yoga mat, shoes (basically anywhere) for a post-workout boost, and its combination of antimicrobial, anti-fungal essential oils will help clear your mind and clean your world.

Pop a couple of Cheers Restore pills after your last cocktail of the night and you'll feel a *million percent better the next morning. A patented formula that replaces lost vitamins, and provides your liver with everything it needs to break down alcohol and its toxic by-products, it's an essential ingredient of the M10 bathroom cabinet.

*Not medically proven, but it worked for us!

Venn’s magical, multi-tasking marvel gently cleanses the skin, removes make-up, exfoliates, and hydrates, then makes you coffee and answers your emails. OK, we were lying about the last two – for that, you’ll need an intern.

Imagine a hike in the mountains, stopping at a wooden refuge for a break, marveling at waterfalls, dried leaves, wet stones, moss, and the colors of the trees. That’s Keap’s Wood Cabin candle – the escape you’ve been fantasizing about all pandemic.

Dalí poses as the Magician, his wife Gala becomes the Empress, and the death of Julius Caesar is reinterpreted as the Ten of Swords in this extraordinary custom tarot deck. First published in a 1984 limited edition that has since long sold out, this lush box set brings back all 78 cards, each dazzling in color, along with a companion book on the making-of and practical instructions.

Nead Ceramics’ Russella painted bowl is handcrafted in New York, created exclusively for MAISON 10.

Green leaf, sweet hay, cedarwood, sandalwood, oud, and floral musk come into play in Carlen Parfum’s coquettish scent, Viridescent, an homage to Weimar Berlin’s romance with oriental religion and philosophy.

Jacto’s bold, conversation-starter pendant features a barracuda jaw cast in brass, with polished gold finish. This beauty hangs on .925 silver and gold-filled diamond-cut curb chain, and is zero waste – so you can wear it with a clear conscience.

The Pixa Tower is both practical and decorative – a fabulous four-piece bar set containing an ice bucket, cocktail shaker, wine cooler, and serving tray. So chic.

10. ART

Mark Gens is working with cyanotype and silver leaf to create incredible pieces on the themes of armor and bondage. A queer boy who came out in New York in the midst of the HIV/AIDS crisis of the 1980s, this deeply personal and political experience became the driving force in his life and in his art.

MAISON 10 is open all week as usual, Tuesday-Saturday, 11am-7pm; Sunday 12pm-6pm. Don't be a stranger. Come in and say hey.
