About Alex Z. Wang:
Alex Z. Wang is a New York City–based abstract artist and creative director whose work explores the emotional resonance of color, movement, and material. After over a decade advising the world’s top fashion and luxury brands as a strategy consultant, Alex transitioned into a full-time creative practice, bringing with him a sharp eye for storytelling and a deeply intuitive approach to visual form. His work draws influence from contemporary dance, natural phenomena, and the psychology of light and shadow.

His paintings — primarily in oil on canvas and alcohol ink on paper — are known for their moody luminosity, layered textures, and a sense of rhythmic depth. Each composition acts as a visual meditation: atmospheric yet raw, intimate yet expansive. His work has been exhibited in New York City, the Hamptons, Santa Fe, Chicago, Paris, and London, and is held in private collections across the U.S. and internationally.
