Ethan Minsker is a writer, filmmaker, artist, publisher, and zine creator whose work has spent decades chronicling the lifestyles and cultures of overlooked and underappreciated artists — the ones everyone else was too busy to notice.

A founding member of the Antagonist Art Movement (2000–2011), Ethan helped build a NYC-based collective of artists, writers, and musicians dedicated to championing up-and-coming talent. He created and edited Psycho Moto Zine for over three decades (1988–2020), and in 2017 received the Acker Award for Visual Arts.

He holds a B.F.A. in Film with honors from the School of Visual Arts and a master's in Media from The New School. Along the way, he's written three novels and produced nine feature films — and he's still deep in it, serving as board member and president of Citizens for the Arts, a nonprofit bringing art to kids in underserved communities.
