About Kalin Hart:
Kalin has been breathing new life into Kong over the past few years - a glorious, provocative, witty, large-scale installation that gazes out our window at the Empire State Building. She has given him several makeovers, starting with the effervescent cloud installation, continuing with his neon pink era, and lastly, landing on the King-inspired teal vision he is today.

Hart’s influences range from the feminine curves of Art Nuevo to the unfiltered grit of NYC street art. She received her BA in Fine Art with a minor in Art History from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and went on to get her MFA in Fashion Design in San Francisco.
Hart’s artistic endeavors have varied throughout the years, from wearable art to window dressing. In 2023 Hart returned to her love for abstract painting, exhibiting her work down in Miami during Art Basel and in a handful of galleries here in NYC.
