Brenda Colling was born in Canada. She trained as a costume designer in NYC.
Since 1982, she has created textile art for the design, photography and motion picture industries. Her signature appliqué art includes fashion, accessories, tapestries and home furnishings. The cutout designs of her recent work are now available both as textiles and metal sculptures.
